Anybody see that 575 Efi blower set up in the classifieds? Looks like a good way to make more power for not much money.

has anyone done carb work on thier hp 500? mine are 1998's about 3 years ago i replace the power valves. this year the motors were smelling rich. got a little sooting on the back of the boat the last run of the season. i grew up watching carbs get rebuilt, floats needle and seats cleaned up etc. is this the way to go or should the stock carbs be replaced? thanks for the input.
