A good guideline for oil line size:
N/A 454 to 502 use the #10 hose/fittings
N/A 540 and up use the #12 hose/fittings
Any blower motors use the #12 hose/fittings
I do agree on the oil and water lines. If you don't care about showing off those in stainless, then use the push-lok stuff. Go with the good automotive stuff (Russell, XRP, Aeroquip), and you can save money. Jeg's and Summit Racing.
Fuel lines should be the stainless with the proper fittings. Not that hard to install if you take your time.
I do have a pair of Teague remote oil filter units that mount on the BBC head, in powder coat purple (all new, in the box), will sell cheap.

I have a large, aftermarket one I was going to put on my 540cu in. for reassurance. Before I could, boat was sold. Still have it; brand new and don't want to mess with sending it back. Email if [email protected]
