getting ready to plumb my motors and checking for idea's .....my idea about the chrome is that it shouldn't matter all that much .... Be careful with chroming oil coolers. Most coolers are solder or brazed construction internally and the heats generated in some chrome dipping processes can reak havoc on those joints internally, which can really screw up a good motor very quickly when water joins oil!
Remembering when we used to say "If it don't go, chrome it!

i have asked this question before and i get replies of people trying to sell me there cooler..............awsome but, i need a good engine builders opionion..................WHO MAKES THE BEST COOLER FOR OVER 700 HOARSEPOWER........

Here's a place where you can get some huge coolers. I just bought a pair of coolers with 3" x 18" cores. Other than the Teague coolers I don't know where else you can get coolers this big.http://i-netmarine.com/oil_coolers/s...il_coolers.htm

They probably are...... Teague doesn't build the coolers. They are standard industrial heat exchangers that have had stainless mounts attached.
