On a stock 454/502MPI ? Mine came in earlier than that, but yes, I do agree that the positive disp SC's will do it earlier. It's in their nature.
Hard to type vs talk this stuff.
Anyway - I think there is false security thinking a centrifugal won't make a bunch more power (boost or not) then the same motor without the Centrifugal SC . Again, on boats and typical build and rpm range. That's all. They can be drive crunchers if you drive unknowingly.

After seeing the header layout with the KE, I too think the SC will not fit with those headers.. Jamie / Lakeside
