i konw you guys dont shine those sixes every time you head out what is the trick,,,,,,,,,,,,clear coat if so what kind.........my #3 is wearing my arse out in the summer...........

If you want the lower unit to be "bright" go to the local boat store and purchase "aluminum brightner" same stuff they sell for pontoon boat - spray apply - let it foam up and wash it off - Other cleaners for aluminum wheels are one of two types, Used for painte/powder coated wheels or a second type very mild acit that is too slow cleaning for you drive -

Use the pntoon boat stuff - I don't have a brand name but any boat store will carry it - it is a medium acid - it will take your breath and eyes away - be careful when the foaming stops the acid has done it's job -
