Default SBC Water pump?

The water pump went out on my 320 EFI......it looks like a standard small block Mercruiser part.

Is there a better pump to buy?.......or should I just go get one from NAPA or something?

I want the best quality.

Thanks.

If you are closed cooling, you can put a high quality automotive one on it. If you have open cooling, use the mercruiser. The automotive ones are steel internals and will rust without the antifreeze/coolant to protect them. The marine ones are brass.
