Great numbers. Similar HP/CI numbers as on my 502's with 305cc AFRs. You will enjoy the throttle response and mid range torque!!

I would prop to run high in the rpm band for acceleration and less stress on drive train.

Bingo. An extra 400rpm is a decent increase of speed. + helps the drive live.

Thumbs Up to your engine builder who provided realistic dyno testing with all the externals/pullies, etc, on the engine---and your Dana exhausts....wet at that!

Remove all the externals, run it with car/dyno headers and it would be a 700+hp engine.

What do you think it would do to the Hp and Tq by adding headers in the boat? .... What type of headers?

SOME DRY STELLINGS, I would think would be good 1 to 2 mph on top end 40hp maybe more being dry.

Bob/RMbuilder did some cams/AFR heads for me a few years back as well. I run "dry" Stellings full length tubular headers in my 32' AT. It's really a combination of parts, but headers usually help. A friend of mine also has a 32' AT with 556cid/815 Supercharged engines,...ask Bob how well I can hang with him. Or ask him about how my boat compares with a stepped hull 36' Apache Vortec with supercharged engines supposedly making 815hp.

Another big fan of Bobs work! He designed my entire valve train for me last season, made more power and idles much better than before. Great prices too!

Bob Madera is a credit to our industry. This man is honest, knowledgable and very talented at putting together the right cobinations of pieces that make awesome motors. Congratulations! nice numbers!
This is why I keep pounding on OSO'ers with the "I'm gonna have a buddy build me a motor" syndrom to go to a "surgeon" when they need surgey and a "dentist" when they need dentistry! There both MD's but at that point the comparison stops!

Best Regards,
Ray @ Raylar
