Default Thankyou RM Builder

I would like to thank Bob Madera aka RM Builder for specing the parts for my 540. I am really pleased. Dyno pull is with all accessories installed and blowing through Dana Marine Torque-flow exhaust.

I like the HP #'s from 4800 to 5900. that should pull some good #'s.Congrats , Bob is pretty sharp on designing a cam. He goes that extra info, unlike most cam manufactures, they usually don't ask much

The numbers look really good. I would think, prop it for 5400-5500rpms at wot as the spinning it 400 rpms faster for 10 hp isn't worth it.

We were going for a very broad torque curve, and gave up some peak HP to gain it.

but what does the 400rpm do for speed, mine was gaing 10 hp per 100rpm from 5800-6100,I prop it to 6000 for top speed, the capibilty doesent mean you run it there .

Congrats!!! Those are some very respectable/impressive HP/TQ numbers with a "Manifold" style exhaust system!!!

CB...By the way, what size/brand of heads are you using? Also, was the engine dyno'd with or without sea pump, alternator, etc??? Was the exhaust system "wet" or "dry"? Just curious.
