I like the idea that I can clean up my 12vdc source by lessing the load on it. The ECU likes that clean power and I have done several steps to help in that area. The mechanical pump would help, in my opinion. Also the price of an electrical system to support 1200hp is quite high.

Keep the comments coming!! Thanks!

I dont think i would use a piston pump with injection.I think fuel will pulse to much. Belt drive pump would be better. Eric

The way this pump works with a regulator after the pump and before the fuel rails is suppose to elimate the pulsing, all of that would be on the input to the regulator. At least that is what I was told, but it is a good point, pulsing on the rail side would be from injectors operating I would think.

I am currently running one on my 383 small block. The thing is great. Do not run a return line, it will not run properly. I do not run an idle bleed circuit either. I have had no problems with mine. The earlier models did have issues with the seals, but the latest version is good to go. The latest version also flows more. Be aware, there is a chinese version of the first gen pump. I love mine and have a -10 pickup, -8 to my regulator (Aeromotive single intlet/outlet). The pump runs like a champ.

Sneaky... how many hours on this setup? I am hearing more and more positive on this pump. I am going to run it and see if I can improve the setup I have been running..
Thanks!
Dick
