Default Fuel pump pushrod

Will I be able to use a stock fuel pump rod on my steel billet camshaft? I remember reading somewhere , that maybe a stock rod would wear down the pump lobe on the cam.

Someone set me straight!!

thanks

Travis

Now it's been a while...but I believe that your rod installation will go easier if you thread a bolt through the front of the block to gently jam it in place. Just be sure you use an appropriate length bolt later on-you'll end up with a oil leak if you leave the hole open. Too long of a bolt and...
