On a LH it would be the the opisit and viseversa?!

but actually everybody sais that and i never felt it or seen it !!!

Do u realy think the lower would move to the side by spinning the prop?????? That would be very poor quality ? !

The drive moves not because of torque but water flow. Because of this, the drives naturally want to turn outward. Setting them toe in slightly allows this to happen and run effectively in a straight line.

Brad i know that u know alot,,,but my quess on this is diffrent !

Not on a cat ???? maybe on a twin V i would understand the phisics but on a cat the flow of water should actually be equal on both sides of the sponson !!!

just like on a single V !!!

If the drives would move from the tourge they would break the downshaft all the time,,come on be realistic ,,we have 2009 !!!not alpha drives or merc 260's !!!

Thanks for all the info so far, I think I'll try 1/8" in at first and see how it goes.

My Latham tie bar doesn't have a left hand thread on one end, so making adjustments is kind of a pain in the butt. I wonder why they put two RH ends on the tie bar?

ck and see if ya have any slack, grab the skeg and pull side to side , I had turned my props in and the drive was 3/4 out and I adjusted it to 3/8 [all I could] it picked up 3mph and when I took the boat out it had a broke gimbal pin.I don't know if it was before or after the run but the skeg movement was over a 1/2.I'm redoing every thing now,so Ill have to start from scratch. Ive been told to run a 1/8-/1/4 out at the shaft end on my Hustler.

Atleast mine did.
How is your 33 PP docking, I am spinning out. The lake I run on has 45 mph speed so I not after every bit of speed. I got it propped for cruising.
