This is a Chris Craft Stinger 312, bravos turning outboard.
I'm putting the drives back on, and wondering if there should be any toe in or out on the drives?
Thanks,
Greg

If you measure at the front of the nose cone and the center of the propshafts they can be towed in at the front 1/16 to an 1/8, dont go anymore than that. If there big 4 blade props go with the 1/8. Most cat boats run straight and most V/s are towed on if they spin out.

Mine is in 1/8 at the front of the drive

Straight is fastest, but boat may not handle right, you will have to try it & see how it runs. Thats why they are adjusted in. 1/16 -1/8 is where most people run em. You'll may find that you may only be able to get 1/16 or 1/8 , not one or the other. because of the way the tie adjusts. After you adjust it try taking measurement on different spots on drives, none will be the same WTF....When you have that set right for your hull, boat should run straight while of plane
But do use nose and prop shafts like Pwrbt33 said, for the correct measurement locations

Just goes to show every hull is different. Thats why a little time spend trying different set ups, pays. A little tweak here and a little tweak there puts tweaked Boat at the front of the pack! I'am my Powerplay 1/8 in spining wheels out. boat runs straight with hands off the wheel.

I was told props turning outward to toe out 1/8 and props turning in toe in1/8. WTF? My 31 cat tended to hunt when set up at nuetral toe and felt more predictable at a bit toe in even though the props turn outwards. Which way do the props push the drives when semi surfacing?
