I'm not an expert that is just what I have heard. Typically they do not recomend silent choice with aftermarket cams on NA engines. I went with the long risers on the EMI's and sold the diverters. Loud is COOL however there are times I wish I still had the choice.

I have herd that GILS choke 500HP's (An engian bilder on here told me that CMI'S will give you 40 HP & much better midrang

CMI's will not give 40 hp over Gil exhaust on a 500hp. You'd be lucky to see 10 hp on a dyno. I switched from Gil's to CMI's on my 525SC and saw ZERO gain in performance.
