Over 810, NA, with stock heads sounds pretty amazing. So you have a running engine and the only thing you are changing is the heads? Sounds like a perfect product test.

I hope you are not hit with any extra machining requirements for you wallet.

I think I read that the Darts come with the narrower valve guides. Are you popping valves with 3/8" stems in the Dart heads?

Hey, I see I have been asleep while things have been popping. Sounds like I am too late but I had talked to Dart a while back about the changes I would like in the bare Dart head to fit my current HP3 valve train parts. They said that I could spec the Dart heads to be made to fit the 3/8 valve stems + thin wall bronze guides, bigger diameter spring seat and custom spring seat depth. That way I could reuse my current valve train components except probably the push rods.

What are you having done to the heads.

Did you ever get the heads flowed? Numbers?

you could do what ever you want, it just cost money. I have about 2500 with the valves spring upgrades no port work. I put larger springs, inconel exhaust valves ,larger 2150 intake valves . f **k it if its slower ill turn up the boost . If I loose boost we made HP.

Thanks. Did you get the heads flowed before or after adding the bigger intake valve ? Numbers?

What springs did you put in?

What cam are you running?

I hope it all turns out well.

I should have thought to ask before. Any pictures you could post of the heads showing the upper valve train complete?
