blower rebuild

i have an 04 575sci. i need to have the blower rebuilt (it's still all there,just for peace of mind. it has about 160hrs on it) who do you guys recomend? i thought i read on here about a company in wi or mi that did a good job. thx, Tony

You are definitely doing the right thing. Mine bearings went with 200 hrs on it and fresh oil. I think the 04s were the B&M sealed bearing version which is not the best design.
I have an earlier Weiand version (oil bath) straight from Merc I would sell if anyone is interested. 20 hrs on it and its true Mercury Blue.

I sent a pair with 180hrs that visually seemed perfect. One had rotors which were slightly out of time, first sign of bearing issue, but caught before any damage. They will modify rear bearing seals to allow better lube of those rear bearings over time. Also they drill and install a drain plug for changing oil in front case.
Have the rotors teflon stripped also. Cheap upgrade to gain about a pound of boost at same rotor rpm.
