What about the amsoil 10-40 marine oil ? Witch one is better 10-40 or 15-40 marine diesel oil ?

Yeah, you could use that just fine. Diesel oils are high in Zinc and Phosphorus, which are anti wear additives. I prefer the synthetic better in the boats though for a few reasons. Since boats are usually not ran daily, the synthetics will...
1. Flow to top ends quicker providing quicker protection
2. Adhere to the cylinder walls much better than a petroleum product will
3. Much higher resistance to heat and high RPMs, i.e. boats.

Last time I had an oil analysis done on Rotella T (2008), zinc and phosphours levels were in the 1100 PPM range and this was on new, unused oil. I am sure it hasn't gone up since then.

New Oil Filter Study finds Royal Purple Oil Filter to be among the very best at a real nice price too at Pep Boys.

Royal Purple Oil SK spec 20W-50 is amazing in offshore engines as well as I am using it now.
