Any last minute tips-tricks for me before tomorrow morning?
Well pulling out both engines tomorrow morning and I think im ready
I have both engines disassembled as much as I can in this thing.
Back seat out, engine hatch off, so no problems with that stuff.
Exhaust risers off, all wiring disconnected, drives off, all hoses off, carbs off, front engine mounts cracked loose (take them totall off tomorrow morning)
all cables and the like tied up out of the way and not kinked, exhaust silencers all taken apart (and going to be sold CHEAP)
Going to get a forklift, pull them up a bit, undo the starter cables and yank em out.
Any other words of wisdom or tips, hints tricks or anything that can lend a hand here?
As far as I can tell just the 2 main engine mount nuts have to be taken off completely, the 2 bolts holding the bell housing to the transom assembly have to be cracked loose (probably use an impact gun in the morning for it)
and strap the chains on !!!!!!
If you think of anything I may have missed please post it!
Let me know cause since this is MY boat im nervous
Thanks all
Jason

Buddy of mine got me this PB breaker something something
Sprayed that on the motor mount nuts 2 days ago, pryed against the 1/2 inch rachet wtih a shovel handle and broke all 4 rusty nuts loose with little effort
Last night we shot the back bolts holding bell housing to transom assembly with that stuff
Going to soak them again tonight
Oh man this is going to be fun
then build me some horsepower

Well the PB blaster was good stuff for the one motor but the second engine is a bust
Wont come out
The 2 bolts holding the bell housing to the transom assembly wont budge
I sprayed them for days, I impact gunned them and they would not move an inch
I know they go through the sleeve and to a nut at the bottom and the nut sits in a slot
But no luck
Would not move
Turned up the line pressure on the impact gun to 230 (granted at 110 should be 650 ft/lbs)
So needless to say it is either break the bolt or torch her out of there
So I started stripping the block while still in there
Ill do a upper half (that is the good motor, now to see if I can get a pulley puller in there to get the balancer off of it while still stuffed in the bilge)
I will NEVER EVER do this crap again
Ill just buy new boats and this stuff can be done by someone else
and man am I aching today
Still having some fun though
