I think the distance from the collector to where the water mixes with the exhaust is too close causing the reversion.

And, even though there is a good distance between the two... I think you are right.

Won't work in this case. I don't have the extra room for distance. gonna watch it for a while. not getting into engine or anything just looks to be on the edge.

I'll eventually run them up to Imco and have them totally dry like originally planned.

In the current tail - where does water come in?

Dumps about an inch into the transom. I have 12 inch mufflers that slide into the 5 inch pipes. I'll have the dumps moved back all the way to the end but I won't need to be 13 inches out anymore.

Cut those pipes down and make them totally dry. Then, trade the slip-in style mufflers for the same style in the clamp-on type.

The current dump is pretty far down the line but apprently not far enough for the overlap of this cam.

5 inch pipes on this little boat look a little out of place..
