Default Oil Pan Interferance Problem

I am in the process of installing offshore mounts on 500HP's with a gen 6 block and oil pan. The front of the oil pan is hitting the mount and won't allow the mount to match up with the bolt holes in the block. Has anyone had this problem? Is the only solution to go with aftermarket oil pans? If so does anyone have a pair of oil pans that will work for sale?

Post a picture of the interference area. And if possible, several side shots of the front motor mount itself.

Is the mount backwards??? Stock merc mounts will fit gen VI oil pans. Had em for 10 years on my boat.

I believe that oil pan will need a front mount Merc Part # 844341T02 .

Ridefast77 has two Gil front mounts for sale in the swap shop section that might work, check the depth carefully.

You said you have 500HP' "S" so you have twins? The merc mounts are LH and RH with separate part numbers so the LH won't fit on the RH motor and vice versa.

All good info here guys. Again, the OSO brotherhood comes thru. I do believe that the flange on the motor mount should face forward.
