Default 500 EFI tulips valves.

New valve springs on, and valves burned into tulips on 500EFI what`s the major fault?

Fatigued valves, not-so-great quality to begin with.

Leaned out. Check the injectors. They most likely need to be flow tested and cleaned. I tulip'd 6 out of 8 intakes and dropped a valve seat on a SB Mag motor when the injectors began flowing poorly.

When you did the springs, did you happen to make any other changes to the engine....ie. cam, bump in compression, etc.

Default 500 EFI Tulips valves

Thanks for replys, Eddie I did not do the job myself, the former owner tels me that he put works to the heads with new Comcam springs, but I can see that the heads has been milled and has a milled surface. This motor supposed to have a serie #0M050186 and if I got it right it should be with H beems rods, this motor has the 502 pistons and rods,I know the first models 500EFI had mostly the same internals as a 502 Mag MPI (not heads, pushrods, lifters and cam) In this matter I dont know the part# on the Comp cam springs and the lifters looks not like the origin 500 EFI,the springs looked to me to be very stiff, appreciate your oppinions here, thanks.
Bjorn.
