Question Power Steering

7.4 Stock/Bravo 1

I lose power steering at higher rpm's.

At idle if I do lock to lock on the steering it comes back until I open it up.

Fluid ok. New motor. Do I need to bleed the line and if so how do
I do it ??

Thanks for any help.

What year? The older Power steering systems were self bleeding. Just fill the resevoir, turn the wheel a few times, and you were set to go. Sounds like it's starving for fluid, check for hose kinks etc.

I just checked the cabling. Doesn't seem to control the valve right.
According to the Clymer manual "hard steering to port"=cable too short or restricted. That's what I've got, hard steering to port.

I'll go down that road for now.
