I use it not saying everybody should, but yes people use it in diesels. But it meets all the specs for gas engines, and the weight works. Ive used it for 3 years no issues. Oil is golden every spring when I change it.

Oil is like peoples children they think theres is the best. Key is to use and change it, and ensure it meet specs and use the proper weight, IF your on stock engines youll be fine.

You should go buy the cheapest oil you can get, fill her up, start it, go for one light run, and drain it. If you had fuel in the oil it needs to be changed at least once additional. Then buy the expensive oil and run it.

Mobil1 racing oil 0-30 / 0-50 see bottom of page 2.http://www.mobiloil.com/USA-English/...duct_Guide.pdf.

My opinion on the V TWIN oil is, its designed for wet clutches in a motorcycle not a car, truck,or boat unless it has a wet clutch in it.

Why do oil threads refuse to die ? The OP already decided on Mobil 1 15w-50 which, IMO, is as good a choice as any! Soldier, you should be changing that oil at winterizing time and run it through the motor. Not in the spring. Oh. oh. I just threw fuel on the fire.

Makes sense to me...same reason I run the Mobil 1 V Twin. Ton of zinc and phosphorous. Additives to help against moisture. Formulated for higher heat.

Amsoil is indeed good oil. I run the Mobil because it is readily available at any auto parts store.

This stuff is for a twin cylinder motorcycle.... Not a boat engine. I get my Amsoil from www.amsoil.com If you become a dealer for 20.00 a year then you can buy at wholesale prices. $7.85 a QT 20w-50w Zrod synthetic $10.20 retail

lubrication is also important.

Mobil v- twin oil is a very good oil withstanding very high temps while combating oxidation from high moisture. Works good in my 621 15:1 comp drag car aswell. Also can never go wrong with Gibbs hot rod oil. Both will be priced from 9 to 10 bucks/ quart. The Gibbs hot rod oil is also recommended for v-twin applications ironically enough. Just because a product can have more than one use (in this case high temp/pressure environment which furthermore proves it's durability) doesn't mean it will not work...not at all. Research, research....-Chris

Ohhh you just can't read the bottle? LMAO!

Gibbs makes a great product too, but again not readily available which is most important to me.
