The Merc 496 is a GM Vortec 8.1L. A Lot of parts are interchangeable. You should be able to find them at the local parts store. Here is a link to rockauto.com they are $52.00 http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/more...206&cc=1432495

Rock Auto sells reman injectors for marine motors, http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/more...34&cc=10001436 They are $62.00 each and have a $35 core. But I don't think there is a difference between the Delco injectors and what is being sold as "marine" parts for this motor..

Found a post from Raylar from a while back that stated the Marine Injectors are different.. So scratch my first post. But my second post looks like a way to save a large chunk of $$. Even if you buy them without exchanging your old ones, you stand to save $117 per injector. Have you considered sending them out to a fuel injector service company? I have plans to send mine out in the off season. They test, clean, replace O-rings, change screens and dyno your current injectors. If bad, they can repair. I think I remember getting a quote of $25 or so per injector. A lot of Diesel and turbo specialists handle injector service, or will know where to send you.
