Should there be oil on spark plug threads?

The oil sheen could be fuel. Dont be freaked out . Get the float level checked then the power valves, too much fuel pressure, etc,and monitor the vacuum readings at each 500 rpm. Record what you have and keep digging. The oil pressure will drop when the oil is hot. A straight weight (40 or 50)might be a good choice. Probably the carb. Greg

A valve guide problem ???
What is the logic behind it ? Did you have valve work done ?
This is a real question, not sarcastic, my smiles are not working.
Actually my smillies stopped working the same weekend my motor took a $h!% which appears to be valve related
