What size easy out do you think, or do they have a one size fits most
Of course it will you silly goose, it is a cracked fitting under 60 psi or so. You can launch a couple of quarts into a bilge in no time flat.

You can buy an EZ out kit with 4 common sizes pretty reasonably from most auto parts store.

x 2.

And don't run a long pipe like that for oil psi or anything else for that matter. Schit, a few inch long pipe can break itself under vibration.

Against what your wife/girlfriend tells you, the shorter the better. LOL.

You probably got lucky as where the crack directed the oil spray.

I pulled a truck in the bay one day with broken brake line. Looked underneath, and then Popped the hood, had assistant pump the brakes, the brake fluid sprayed thru the engine compartment without hitting anything but my damned tool box approx 15ft away.

I was pissed. LOL.

That's frigging funny !!!!! I just thought with it being mounted on top of the motor in the rear it would have made a big mess - but I neve ran hard nd the PSI was steady at 40 - also wondering why my oil pressure never dropped, not a drip on the dip stick, would have never known if I didn't check !!!

And I had the gauge installed while I had a local mechanic doing some work for me !!

Well, fix that, and still assume there is a leak, so you don't fuk yourself if there is more than one.

hopefully the mechanic didn't see your hook up for testing did he ? if he did find another mechanic. I would be curious who he might be since I know most them in DFW. We have some good ones here but also some who think they know what they are doing and do not. Like I said and SB do not use a solid pipe line for any testing into ports.

At least he used galvanized pipe and not black pipe, he must be a plumber on the side.
