Funny Ok here is a oil info topic

Driven motor oil ( Mpao ) is made by www.synfluid.com in which is owned by Chevron Phillips.

Not to go into a huge discussion about this as Mpao compared to PAO is around 1.5 to 2.5 times stronger against higher temps also has very low foaming characteristics because of the ability offering rapid air release.

If you go to www.synfluid.com and up in the right corner type in Mpao to search and read all you want or not.

I have ton of info from one of the chemists at Chevron / Phillips - one of their employees is a member of our Marine Technicians group, it works for me because I have lead in at Chevron Phillips if I need to throw out tech questions.

BUP-
mOAO is a great base and imo mainly PAO based oils are kind of old technology. Wether mpao actually delivers inside a running engine vs POE? Well your guess is likely as good as mine. Each company will say it's product is superior. Data sheets are great, don't get me wrong, however you can fully appreciate that there is simtimes a huge disparity between what is promised and what is delivered.

That information is about as basic as it comes. Doesn't bring light to the arguement regarding MPAO vs POE as I mentioned above. Again, a data sheet isn't the end all as you are well aware from testing oils with terry.

Next year I'm running olive oyl and eatin spinach! Or vica versa.
Seriously though, no oil will repair your engine, all we are looking for is to minimize the damage from running hard with short interval oil changes. And different builds will require different oil, way too much drama here.
