The Hines balancer is a quality machine. Sometimes on a larger stroke crank tungsten has to be added, otherwise the counterweights would be to large to clear block or pistons. The big stroke cranks will use a aluminum rod and lighter piston to reduce the rotational mass, that mass is harder to accelerate. I have some 5.300 cranks that require at least (4) 1" pieces of tungsten in each end for a 7.250 Oliver rod, and a 4.600, inverted dome piston. That rotational mass is a max of 5400-5600 RPMs, if you want it to live and will have a external oil pump, with a dry sump system, otherwise the oil pump would fracture and fall off the rear main cap.
