I am surprised your getting 4lbs of boost on tthat engine..
a healthy 540 with cam and heads by itself flows more than that blower
can provide without creating excessive heat..

This was the way it was I just rebuilt them they way they were (pistons have negative in them) what brought up the question here was the installer was talking to someone who may know about suprchargers (altho I think he has history on larger supercharged applications) and his point was that the pumps would not support the application, in which where the electric fuel pumps have been discussed, and thats where I'm at here, trying to figure out if I really need them and hack up the curent fuel system that has ben on this application since I would surmise 1996, but 1 of the pumps are bad leacking thru the base, in which I do not know what they are..... I do know that they are not billit alum. and that they are not KE pump heads

Cv Products makes a billet pump with different diaphragm springs, I would use a regulator with it. They are pricey, but 100% rebuild able, I have used many of them over the years. Also they will not leak fuel back into the seawater pump and dilute the gear lube.
