I bought my pistons and bearings last year from them. Great prices but seems they are a drop-ship supplier and I had to return some pistons after a build change (new in box yet) and they royally hose you with restocking fee. Let alone it took forever to get the refund credited. But I would order from them again, I would just make sure I was ordering the correct thing and wouldn't need to return anything.

Lot of that going around the internet these days. Its a small price to pay, for the small price you pay sometimes.

I order most stuff from summit. For starters, their website is great. Easy to navigate, and narrow down to what you are looking for. Two, they will match just about anyones price. Three, their shipping is fast, and usually free. Four, their return policy is great. Five, they actually stock things, and show you if in fact it is in stock, or when will ship, or , if in fact, will be drop shipped from manufacturer.

But, like anything, you need to know what you are looking for. If you need someone to pick you out a set of heads, pistons, cams, gaskets, intake, carb, and so on, or design your engine, then thats really not your place.

Yea I use summit for most things if price is close to other cheaper sellers just because they are awesome. There service is awesome and if I order it in the morning, I have the stuff next day if in stock with standard shipping. I got my block through them and they did match the lower price I found elsewhere. Awesome company to deal with.

I agree on Summit. Been dealing with them since I was 15. Their catalog was about 40 pages or so. My only lapse with dealing with them was during college (+ a few years later) and that's because they had a speed shop in town. I paid the little extra at the speed shop because it was worth the price of admission. Where I came from, I was the only one in high school that was working on performance stuff.

Here's something about their customer service many won't know. If they don't stock it and don't deal with a certain company that mkes it, they just may give out their info to the customer.

I'm not in that type of business for the most $$$$ part. More repair and my own perf parts, than anything.
