My 950 pro systems flow about 831 or 841. I have the build sheets here somewhere. I'm not sure what the hp1000' flow however I thought they were the same size as an 850 body and base/throttle plate however would imagine they flow better due to the hp style carb. I'm not a 100 % on that however could have sworn I just looked that up recently.

Some good info. Make note of cfm used on average etc with the different carb sizes. It may surprise some non-carb guru's. Regardless it's good material for all of us with the exception of test engine is a stroked Ford. Lol.

450hp small block with single pane intake.
In the marine world our 383sbc's 450hp use RPM dual plane intakes and 750 Holleys.
Our 450hp 454's use rpm's and Vic jr's with 850cfm carbs and can use some more.

The Ultra HP 950 is what Holley deems a “True 950″ carburetor, with massive flow potential. In the past, although some HP carburetors may have been labeled as 950, their actual flow rate was probably somewhere in the 800’s. In an effort to stand behind their offerings, Holley pulled out all the stops on the new Ultra HP carburetor line and offers the new Ultra HP 950 as a true 950 CFM carburetor.
