Went on maiden voyage on the F34 Yesterday, had fun while it lasted. Anyway, was cruising at 95 or so, backed off came off of plane and shut it down to take a look in the engine bay and check things over. Everything looked good but it was rough and took a wave to the back of the boat up into the exhaust. Go to fire it up and starboard motor sounded funny and wouldnt fire. Pop hatch and crank was turning, belt drive to the cam was stationary.
Idled back on port motor. I believe I sheered the teeth off the cam belt at the crank.
Now, what are the chances of the valve train being in a position that there is no piston contact? No metallic contact noises. Going out to the boat to pull the belt off and see if I can turn the cam bye hand.

when the engine is at tdc for #1,the dot on the cam gear will be at 12 o'clock.you will need to ge a straight edge to center of balancer to get it close.
your gonna have to strip the front of the engine.so you'll be able to see the dot.#1 and #6 piston will be at tdc.so just set it up dot to dot.and put it back together.you already degreed the cam,not that I like it but the belts should be about the same so cam timing should also be the same as before.
