I think so I ran the boat pretty much wide open for the 5 mile ride back to the docK and everything was identical and looked really good I could probably clean it out a little more but I'm not going to just yet I kept the rpm 51-5400 the whole time... I ran the boat really hard all weekend long I cannot believe I did not take out a outdrive

Sorry If I am asking stupid questions, I just want all the ammunition possible to make a 550 hp 454 thats bulletproof. Its 35 miles from here to the bay and a little further to Kelly's. if its nice I want to be able to lay it on the dash without reservation or hesitation for the entire trip.

Ok after pulling my hair out thinking again, I called Mild Thunder Joe... We decided it's most likely the extra load on bigger props, making the one emgine go rich and lug, took out 3 jet sizes in secondaries and see 11.6-11.9:1 and both engines 5400 equal, so guess I just needed even less jetting then before the small props allowed the engines to run easier...
I can't say how great of idea it is to have full time widebands to check this stuff! I think we got this now!

I would say grabbing a wideband in the boat is the best possible thing you can do for safe to because what happens on the Dyno vs the boat are two different things

Did you start with wideband just on the one side and then recently install on both. Cmi has my tails right making some adjustments to accommodate my installs and had them install bungs in both while there. What a great inexpensive tuning device. Good insurance policy also. More time on the water with less time checking plugs.
