So , you have every answer on what it ISNT, but cant say what it IS? I thought you have yet to recieve the lifters from tim, but how do you know the bearings arent showing signs of heat ?

Im pretty sure you know the answer, or have a strong opinion on what caused it. But, saying it, might cost you some sales .

Just what oso needs, more sales guys and politics. Did you dogn up here to give tech insight, or just to tell everyone how superior your product is?

Since we are talking about lifter designs, what are the pros and cons of running a "swedged" axle , vs an axle that is held in place by a wire lock?

I did some googling like havoc40 suggested, and stumbled on this topic where on another site they were comparing johnsoms vs morels . Here a guy claimed his "swedged " axle came out of his johnson lifter.

Well it's clearly the LIFTERS fault. Not sure what the debate is about.

Almost 200 pages on a cam wear issue that has yet to be rectified and we are blowing out someone from a lifter company who just got here? Jeez, he's not even an outside sales rep.

My goodness.

Lol it may not be a lifter problem or a camshaft maybe a block problem. Maybe the lifte bores are on the wrong plane from each other. Nobody from a company is going to say what they think here. That's why he said everything needs to be inspected.
Yep he will not want to come back.

I have to get in touch with Gaffrig for them to help me sort out this whole Johnson vs Johnson mess.
