Looks like several other MK cams that were removed from engines after a short time.

Maybe ground thru the hardening ?

God forbid you say hey maybe Bob screwed up. What makes him so god like? Just curious why some of you deem him untouchable and he can't make mistakes.

I had a motor swallow a lifter this summer and it's lobe doesn't look that bad:angry-smiley-038: I still replaced the cam and lifters but man, that sucks for ya

I can't see extent of mark in my computer. How bad is it ?

I remove and install cams all the time and I can tell you that doesn't resemble an 8620 billet cam at all.

Port engine I bet.

My guess is both will look the same. This isn't an anomaly or the first one like this. Quite common actually.

Thats the LS firing order cam he got from Bob Madera. Heres another one of bobs cams that was pulled out of an engine with 35 hours. looks like 8620 cam to me.
