Good call. I didn't catch that. I was curious on port size so I could switch out to 12 AN but that changes things up for me anyway. I was just going to swap out to 1/2x12 AN.

Not that particular one any way. There's a bunch of cheap China ones on eBay with oring also.

That thing does look pretty cool, and would be nice and neat if starting from scratch. Pretty much the same concept as Merc's remote thermo filter head the Hp500's and what not used. Really makes plumbing easy, and neat.

I purchased 2 oil thermostats from Extreme Custom Marine. I delt with Paul a super nice guy and very knowledgeable he also sells them on eBay they are a take off of Mercs 1075 but at a fraction of the cost. These stats are super high quality and use -12 ORB lines.

I'd hate to see what actual cost is... lol. These look just like the stock merc ones I have.

Just removed the plug from on inlet side, installed temp sender (came with bushings) and then installed AN-10 fittings for the new hoses.

Excellent that's the ease of install I was looking for with a gauge but didn't know if the plugs went into and oil galley. Thanks!

Are they what we thought. Nice piece? They look like it. I think I may sell my merc ones and get these. I like the streamline and mounting flexibility
