Default Flare to AN adapter

Trying to change oil lines on a 496HO. does anyone know what size the Flare fitting is that Mercury uses. Once i figure that out, I need a adapter to AN.
Thanks

Might have been missing something over the years, but AN's are done in 1/16 increments. A 1/2 flare is AN-8 or 8/16. AN-10 is 5/8 and AN-12 is 3/4 (10/8)

Actually, Russell makes a 22M adapter that fits the adapter pad then you screw the -10 female over it.

Does it look like this ?

If so, I'd do the same as S30 mentioned above. Hole looks small....boss looks thick enough it could be drilled bigger.
