Anyone?
Are you trying to build 1100-1200 pump gas engine? Or race gas high compression? Big chief heads or standard port? Thanks Eric

I'd like to see a 665-674" Dart 20 or SR20 engine with a tunnel ram. Should be good for at least 1000hp on pump gas in a boat I'm pretty sure.

Trying to get the 1200 hp with a engine that will run on pump gas from the regular gas station none of that racing fuel here.I dont have a choice of heads just something with great flow.
One thing I am trying learn more about is the compression ratio I need for this build, should be less than 10 or 9.5 for a procharged engine making about 8-10 boost.

I gave a check on the Sniper set up at Summit, but I guess that they’re always about 20% off “suggested retail” $999.

On a on a side note, would the brain trust here recommend using the Holley pump in the kit or upgrading to a Mallory, aero motive, etc?

Holley seems to have minimum advertised pricing so "suggested retail" is the same most everywhere.. EVEN direct from the Holley site. I was watching mine just before the sale started.. the price on the HP dropped $200 when the sale went in to affect..but it does say UP TO 20% off so the Sniper system may be a different discount..

I used to order a lot from Summit but they have a store in Texas now so I have to pay sales tax which makes Jegs cheaper..

FYI.. I'm running an Aeromotive Marine Eliminator pump.. I see they just came out with a new brushless line that may be worth looking in to ...
