Default 540 BBC-what spark plugs

Just finished my 540 build, Dart block, Canfield aluminum heads with 9.5:1 compression. Stock heat range plug be fine or should I go a step colder?
I believe I have BPR6ES’s in there now which I believe is stock heat range for 502.

If your going to stick with ngk I’d step down to 7’s and keep an eye on your ground straps. I never had much luck with ngk’s except in 2 strokes.

Fouling and would rarely pick cylinders back up. I’ve always had good luck with ac delco and autolite. But what ever brand you prefer and have had good luck with. Heat range as you mentioned most important.
