Still very respectable and awesome fun boat. I grew up just 2 miles from their old plant on alpine.
BTW OT a plasma cutter, band saw and drill press every great to have in your shop. I’m always making custom stuff for this that and whatever.

Hopefully these work. $75 bucks from a local fab guy. He even cut the "cutouts" to match the Hardin piece.
QUESTION - I'm going to run a 2D map with a start retard value of maybe 8-10. What do I do with the manual input setting on the box? If I input "10" in the software do I just leave the manual setting at 0 or should I align them?
Also, the Mode setting on the ignition box should be set to 1 correct?

Got it all hooked up today, but need to get some new Moroso terminals for the CDI side of the coil.
Always something. Was double checking timing before I hooked everything up and of course the relay craps out on me. Then two trips to Ace Hardware. Nothing is ever seemless, but getting closer.......

Great looking bracket though!

Alright so, confirming:
In general is appears when you upload from PC link it overrides all the manual settings, but I'm planning on doing this:
RPM - 60 (6,000) - I'll set the Rev limit to that in the software as well so that's aligned.
TIMING CURVE - set to 1 for fixed timing. The instructions say the PC upload will override this. Confirming this is the right setting
RETARD - this one is a little confusing, as the instructions don't spell out that the PC upload overrides the manual setting. Can someone confirm I just leave this on 0 and let the upload manage
MODE - set to 1 as per the instructions
12v Hot - I connected this directly to the Hot on the starter motor. Any issue here? Only thing that bothered me about doing that was that I believe my boat has an automatic parallel switch when you crank the motors.....

If you are able I would hook it directly to the battery. That's how I hooked up my Crane HI-6M's. Not hooking MSD's directly to the battery is one reason they fry. A battery is the best capacitance filter in your boat.
