588 Blower Motors Cam Choice
All
i am having to rebuild my Apache motors they are 588 CI with B&M Mega Blower running 6 lbs boost twin 900 CFM carbs. Current cam is UltraDyne 245/256 @.05 and 650 lift 114 separation. should i go a bit bigger. Rev limiter set at 6000.
thanks for your input

Like that cam you are using just little more lift which is nice
not sure on the bore and stroke but will check i was told it was 588
putting brand new Brodix 327 BB3 Extra 400 @ 6000
Max 6000
know i probably don't need larger but love the sound big cam.
think the new heads will pick up torque versus the old Merlin Cast Heads
Any more input much appreciated.
