Tunell raaammm!!!!
Or Tunellcram as David Fryburger coined it.
Gotta decide on a powdercoat color . Red might be too much , white, but thats going to be hard on my OCD https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...c6fd7791aa.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...14a4b62945.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...bdbe60cde1.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...65cd2901df.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...69e7db08fa.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...3b64a1ed94.jpg |
Blow it , then ram it. Lol.
|
Too hard to get to keep pretty if it was white, go with the red. Belt dust is going to gather in there, especially with the condensation which may happen at times. Paint the throttle bodies white to offset the balance a bit.
|
Ok where did you get the belt with the logo?!

What is the projected hp gain with the intake??

black smoke anodized metalcast, temp to 500 gas & oil resistent. It's a little transparent, so any scratches prior to paint will show but the product is excellent https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...646a23962b.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...8a57a1dca9.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...c141f90fa9.jpg |
Very Nice Dan! I have a similar set up with about 1/2 the Height on the runners. I might suggest to watch the fuel distribution closely, as there may be a tendency for a few cylinders to run on the lean side! AND be careful of some Fuel Injection gurus advise as this set up is out of most wheelhouse. Just my opinion.

10 02's !!! Thats gonna be fun to monitor! I'm sure its data logged too, but trying to watch 10 AFR gauges just seems like a fun challenge. Looks amazing! I say white and OCD sucks.

My plan is to dyno with 10 02`s to see what that fuel distribution is. You are correct , not a standard set up lol . Took me a while to pull the trigger , I thought it looked funny but i`m getting used to it .
On my mustang 5.0, I think I'm going to run 4 injectors behind the throttle body and 4 injectors in the blower intake. 1 in each quadrant. I will be dynoing at Smitty's with 10 O2's again.

Right column is boost . |
Functional and dead sexy! Win win!

I'd go black. Won't show all the dirt etc that collects in there. Match your intercoolers.
|
I think red on the TR’s. They wouldn’t stand out as much and would look like a nice extension of your engines. Also what are you thinking for duration on cams? And what peak rpm. Fk I just messaged Valako regarding changing over to NA TR’s. If I can gain over 50hp at or near 6,300 I’d go for it as he’s messing around right now with my Brodix and another profiler sniper to see what works best. So possible a set of new intakes and 1150 carbs be in the swap soon. Tks a lot for starting this thread. 😂

I think black too would look best .:drink:

Id have to look into how to fire all these injectors on my HP set up Wish i could dyno at Smittys titties but I have too much power for his dyno . Precision is supposed to have 10 02`s but a friend of mine had some issues there with the owner .. what`s the word on those guys? |
Do you have a Terminator X or HP? I know you can do it with the HP, but you might have to buy a stand alone injector driver for the Terminator X.

Badass I love this type of setup! First time I saw one years ago I was blown away thinking Duh that makes perfect sense why don't more people do that lol! Excited for you man!
Ben at Precision Power Offshore/Chief Engines is one of the most honest guys in the industry. He's just a good person. They also have one of the Best dyno rooms in the state. He's well versed on many different EFI systems. I know a lot of people who are happy customers. We just finished running both our engines there and couldn't ask for a better experience. He doesn't just do a quick sweep he actually runs the engine like it's in the boat. I think you will be happy and enjoy working with them! |
Those longer runners should make a bunch of torque. Dan where did you purchase the profilers if you don’t mind me asking. I attempted to get a couple of darts yesterday but couldn’t get any kind of a guarantee on delivery date. Meaning like feb-march sometime. Kinda like a yes no maybe kind of deal.

GET her done, https://www.alkydigger.net/proddetai...PRO216-Blower9
Had em in a week...nice folks to deal with. Even gave me a 5% discount for getting 2 Edit: I just found a pic of a black on that link. I like it ! https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...3b5c4582a0.jpg |
I was looking to adapt this for my Mustang and Whipple but it definitely won't fit under the hood. And they don't make them for big blocks that I know of for my boat.

On another note how’d you decide between the dart and profiler or even the 7085 eddy. I’ve read up on the 3 years ago when I was in this predicament and seemed up in the air. Seems like the darts need a lot of work or more than others but makes sense I guess to tailor to one’s specific build. One thing I do know for sure is they look fken cool and I’ve always wanted a TR build but always talked myself out of it $$$. I suppose in my case a single dom on top would be like putting perfume on a pig so dual carbs it is. Gonna stay old school until I convince myself to get with the times. I looked up site early during a search however wanted to confirm they had in stock or a direct ship before paying and finding out later back order. I’ll give them a call tomorrow. Tks Wonder how true it is longer runners work better NA and a little shorter runners like 5” work better with forced air. I have no direct experience with and just going by a few articles I read. |

I`m currently running a .680 lift cam hydraulic. .700 on a solid is not an issue.
My head flow is much better at higher lift. More boost less lift would be more cylinder pressure and more detonation issues. I like the cam specs. Gether done, do the other brands offer a top plate for a xx-71 blower bolt pattern? I might have gotten the last 2 , call em and see availability |
Calling as soon as they open this morning. Hey maybe I can get a BLACK Friday discount. Lol…. I can make the top plates if need be. It would be way to simple if they were all the same but not sure on that. I’ll be stoked if the have the t-rams.
