we have jesel shaft rockers on big chief heads an issue you don't normally look for is when you pull the shaft out the needle bearings were broke or cracked we sent them all back to jesel and they offer a very good rebuild service

Seems to be a lot of issues with Crower shaft rocker (Aluminum) breaking.
My buddy broke 2 on a mild engine.
I run the stud mount Crowers (steel) with offset intakes, no issues whatsoever.
Not a fan of aluminum on endurance applications.

Like we talked the real kicker is if or when you swap out heads you start all over and do it again. I realize there’s some great shaft rockers out there without a doubt and in most cases the best route to go but damm their getting near the price of the heads.

Running a 715 lift and 288 SR so it's not real hard on the valve train. I will watch them closely this coming season, when I adjust the lash.

So on my 46 Cat I run Jesel's on Big Chiefs as well, inspected when we changed piston architecture at 87 hours and they were in perfect shape. Put 14 hours since.I guess time will tell.
