What about removing the low pressure line where it enters the spin on fuel filter THAT COMES FROM THE COOL FUEL PUMP. On the filter its a std 1/4" npt fitting. Just extend the hose to the tank or fill hose. And put in a 1/4npt male pipe plug in the filter inlet you took the hose out of. I haven't done it but maybe others on here have.
My only concern is that in the 95 deg heat on the gulf coast, will the gas in the tank slowly heat up enough after 9 hours on the water, to cause vapor lock. If it does then you have worse issues. No colder fuel left anywhere to pull from.
Has anyone experienced this whole tank heat up issue especially when your running with a low amount of gas in the tank it will heat up quicker.
