Default 2001 VOLVO DPX500 Flywheel / Starter

Does anyone know the number of teeth on the flywheel for the 2001 VOLVO DPX500 8.2L. I am wanting to replace the starter with a High torque starter since mine is dragging and barely cranks. it has been that way since new ( I only have 89 hrs on the engines).

Ayuh,....... Pull the starter, 'n look at the bolt pattern,......
Straight across is a 12" flywheel, 153 tooth,.....
The staggered pattern is the 14", 168 tooth,....

Before you waste money on a starter make certain that all of the power and ground cables are clean and secure.

I already done that, New 800 CCA battery tested, and clean connections Positives and Negatives on battery side and engine side, also timing has been moved a few degrees retarded and advanced.

What is "PMM" ? I looked for a Marine Mini starter with gear reduction but could not find one under $400.00 , I like the PowerMaster brand but they don't have Marine Starters,, I ordered ARCO Part #30470-ANEW OEM Quality Hi Torque, Permanent Magnet, Gear Reduction Starter. 1.7 KW for a couple hundreds and hopefully it will work otherwise I will have to step up the expense.
