I have seen a few in operation , When I wanted to install 2 SUPER COOLERS on my boat 2 years ago I went looking for some kits and the only ones I could find were used ones that had inter cooler core issues , so I would have had to make new custom cores built rework my fuel lines and throttle cables. I ended up building custom cores to fit the carb boxes that I was already using .

You are right, my one kit had a inner leak in the core, funny it was used on a fresh water lake . Im having a spare made and I had pu another. A core is 500.00 then labor to remove the tanks and re-weld them. Did you run upgraded mech pump or 12v?

I converted mine to run aeromotive marine a100 electric pumps and I added two stage water pumps to feed the intercooler
