Traviss We are in the same position.Last 2years putting about 700hp. through a bravo this year we will be putting over 800hp. with are new moter

I can't remember really what it is called. All it is, a tube of teflon thread sealer. Dwight check out the post "head stud sealer" post. Its the same application.

Merc Hi-Performance lube is as good as any. That kind of power through an alpha drive, when it comes apart don't be so quick to blame the oil. Good luck and keep us posted!

Royal Purple would be my choice. That is allot of hp on an Alpha.

You guys worry to much.. I ran the dog **** outta of it last year with a little over 500 hp. Today I finished rebuilding the drive. I didn't find anything worn or broke in it ( knock on wood) . I know this drive is over do to blow apart Its just not its time yet


You know you have to learn from your mistakes.. i haven't made a mistake yet
