I think there is more to it than just high speed....Dyno boats on the Great lakes...Alot of rough water & air time puts alot of stress on components no ?

I actually may be using the helm, so I'm going to hang onto it. The same unit is used for twin ram OB and large IB applications.
As for the rams, I run across them frequently. I think I know where a couple are near Peoria, but I wouldn't buy them from the guy without seeing them first. You might want to check with Doller or Bam in FL. I think the K-5s were the first external ram available so they're common. And a rebuild kit was only about $10. BTW they're a plated brass cylinder with square encaps, held together by 4 long bolts. The ram itself is S/S, but the 7/8" diameter means heim joints are a little hard to find.
The reservior/regulators are available through West marine, etc for a little over $100 if I remember.

"Hynautic" Is Gone!
 

The Hynautic Steering Company does not exist anymore. Teleflex Marine is a very large Canadian Co. that bought out the Hynautic name & inventory and dissolved them. They do not have parts or anything available for them from the factory. The marine distributors have sold off their remaining inventory & it will be replaced with Teleflex systems and parts only. I have a new Hynautic H-51 helm available(requires a reservalve tank) & a good used twin outboard, twin cylinder, Teleflex helm available for sale, if anyone has the need. What about cylinder rebuild kits? Are they still available for the K-5s?

Ed what do you want for the package? I'll still need a tank and lines and make some mounting plates for the transome and drives....

So whats the deal. Can a guy still get a teleflex set up new for a Bravo 1 dual ram, external?
