I may need a 502 Longblock

For "stock" 502s, I've gotten them from Scoggins-Dickey. Rebuilding depends on what needs to be done, and whether you plan on paying someone to do it.

If you are in fact looking for a long block (with heads), as opposed to a short block (without heads), beware that most crate engines are intended for automotive use and do not have exhaust valves that are compatible with marine use.

Who sells just short blocks?
I have a set of heads, along with a lot of other parts, that I could use to put a base engine together.
Every place I seem to find, will only sell long blocks.
Would be nice to have a spare ready considering I blow one up about every two years.
