Why not do both, the pirelli style and a snap in over it? Mine is currently set up that way without the pirelli though, just studded fiberglass.

Hey Panther,
Another place that you can find some flooring is Lonseal Inc.
It's just like Pirelli and they offer multiple styles. They also have flooring that is UV protected. www.lonseal.com
I have it in my boat and it works great.
Good luck,
Mike

Lonseal is the way to go. 6' wide & any length you want. Do a search on OSO & there is a wealth of info on this product. Discussed many times. Contact adhesive works better in the boat application as opposed to the epoxy they suppy.

Johno,

I have a section to do the floor in my Pantera, but it came with the boat, not sure if it is Pirelli, or Lonseal, I will ask Angel where he got it, so maybe I can get more. What is the thickness on the Lonseal, the stuff I have is only like 1/8" thick, for some reason, I thought it was thicker???

Lonseal is more cost effective and great people to deal with they will give the local distributor. Full sheet better than tiles and many different designs. Coin, Dot etc. they used to have a Marine page but I couldn't come up with it quick.

What other adhesives can be used the to install the flooring? Is anything readily avail at home depot?

Here is the website with the Marine products. http://www.lonsealspecialty.com

I just got off the phone with the rep. and they have a much superior product for outdoors use (londeck coin), it is UV resistant.

We have a product similar to Pirelli on the boat I work on. Two coats of Mop-n-Glo wax and it looks awesome inside the cabin.Where sun hits it is fading fast after a year of abuse.Work boots and saltwater are not kind. Not sure of the brand but make sure your flooring won't fade before making the investment.
