Default Engine Mounts?

Has any one used billet engine mounts like below? Is there a specific horsepower rating on them? I am trying to determine whether to use these or the standard merc mounts with the rubber bushing. Should there be concern with either mount in the 550-600hp range?

I have the mounts in my boat and are very happy with them. If they are setting on some aluminum angles, they are not as strong as a offshore mount. They are much better looking than the stock mount though.

I have the mounts you pictured, they work good, haven't broke yet,i bought them from dana and also got there big aluminum l angles to replace the stock ones. i had 3 seasons of use with the stock mounts before switching, they never broke even with 502 procharged but i was worried they would,Smitty

Do they have any kind of locking tabs on them? What keeps them from moving up or down?

I got mine from Eddie Marine. He was the first to carry them. You could try with Fred on the board. His company is "Trick Marine". If he doesn't have them, tell him that Cord says he needs to GET WITH THE FREEKIN' PROGRAM!

I bought mine from dana products,i added 2 more nuts on each one and double nutted them above and below the bracket on motor. i also sanded the smooth finish off the bottom side because i was afraid they would walk around on stringer angles,Smitty
